It was 7 a.m. when the runners set off. Around a hundred runners, divided into 3 categories: juniors, ladies and seniors, took part in the marathon under the close supervision of the Red Cross and THE BELINGA FOUNDATION team.

Barely back from the sporting action, it was time to take a look at the SONGO tournament, where the semi-finals and final were contested. At the end of a final rich in beautiful gestures, Mr NLATE PAULIN, victorious over Mr OBOUNOU PATRICK in the final, takes the title of best SONGO player for the year 2023. Mr ONDJA’A PATRICE takes 3rd place.

Meanwhile, from the COCAM stadium, the quarter-finals got underway with four clashes on the program:
– ETONDO FC vs MENGONG YAT at 9 a.m.
– DEUX-ZERO vs RACING de NKO’OVOS at 1pm
– VITALO de LOUM vs ROCHER de YEM
– KPWATOLO vs PASCEMMA at 3pm.
The four qualified for the men’s soccer semi-finals are FC MENGONG YAT, DEUX-ZERO de MENGONG, ROCHER de YEM and KPWATOLO from MEKAMEVOM.
